The letterhead on your company documents should reflect your website graphics and web site design. Letterhead is also a great way to create a professional appearance. Many organizations will not accept documents or forms without official company letterhead.
Many software applications like Microsoft Office and others have features that allow you to design your own letterhead; many even allow you to download letterhead templates at little or no cost. However, if you download a letterhead template from Mircosoft Office Online for example, you must consider how many other people have downloaded that same template. By doing this you are taking away from the uniqueness of your company!
Printing costs are also a consideration. Letterhead with a colored background or intensive graphics might not be the best decision if budget is a consideration.
